Start Seeing Diversity Blog: Creating Art

In this course, I have learned a lot about diversity and how it applies to child development. Children have diverse issues and needs, and educators have to address those needs. I have learned about my own biases and ways to improve my understanding of diversity.  As a result, I have created a collage that illustrates my view of diversity.  The image includes gay parents.  This was an issue for me and one of my biases that I have learned to overcome.  I also include pictures of diverse children.  My goal in education is to promote diversity and inclusion and to overcome all biases.
